Pinpoint swivel forward suddenly into hasty retreat, ricocheting left when opinion had it you were definitely all right. We change without warning. Wake up early from a night of jealous dreaming, the room bright and different. A single grain of sand is all it takes to make you blink, & swerve in avoidance.

Mum died 3 years ago today, dad asked her out on a first date 45 years ago tomorrow.
Time just flies away never to return.
I'll drink an iced Corona beer in the midday Mexican sun & toast 'Salute!' to all that is gone,
and all that is to gain in remembering & making new memories.
Everything lives on of importance.
My mum is in the mirror staring back at me as i try to remember her.
I am her, she made me, we share similar eyes & features.
She's in the sky, in the air, in the river waters & seas,
& every empty space inbetween everything.
i love you mum.
Can't miss you because you're elsewhere,
evading capture,
always one city ahead of me,
on the move,
work to be done,
an echo of a distant whistle.

THE LOAN SHARKS CIRCLE.
I imagine what comes next...
The government buys up the banks bad debt, then calls them all in... Morally underpinned by the tax risk to future generations, they chase the debtors to extinction, and claim the prize of having won a war by eradicating the easier target: the opportunistic poor who were born or schooled into addictive debt, rather than the stupid companies who saw a profit in encouraging & facilitating their dependency. State sponsored loan-sharking allows for the transferral of private ownership from borrower to state. Credit has been allowed to balloon because it lulled both individuals and companies/banks into the false sense of security that we actually owned anything. It’s a pincer movement: the poor kept sweet on benefits, the rich given terms they can comfortably afford, and the in-betweens all get stuffed.

A lot of the images assembled above came from Google or somewhere, and are the copyright of their original owner. But their assembly together is very much my own doing, it's difficult to say really where creative ownership begins & ends, i'm certainly not averse to creative trespass. So no reproduction without permission, unless you're feeling subversive, punk.
